Our Counselor and Founding CEO Ms. Pratima Adhikari recently conducted a Career Awareness Workshop for Grade 9 and 10 students at Sypres Public School, Kathmandu and it was a session to remember. Many students at this stage feel overwhelmed when it comes to choosing subjects and thinking about their future. This workshop was designed to change that. Through engaging discussions and self-reflection activities, students explored four key areas — career awareness, subject selection, self awareness, and the world of work. The goal was to help them look inward, expand their thinking, and make more informed decisions about their academic and career paths. One moment that stood out, a student who had always assumed she had to pursue science realized for the first time that her love for people and communication could lead to a fulfilling career too. That shift in perspective? That’s exactly what this work is about. By the end of the session, students left more confident, more self-aware, and with a clearer sense of direction.
Because every student deserves to discover their potential before the world decides it for them.
